It’s hard for Stephanie to turn off her copyediting brain. She sees misplaced modifiers and errant punctuation everywhere she goes. Her solution? Fly halfway around the world. “Travel is where I can forget about all that,” she says. “Especially if I can’t read the signs.” At AHA!, Stephanie’s relentless eye for detail is balanced by her good humor and diplomacy, important skills both in the wilds of Africa and in a room full of writers.
